As luck would have it, a hunter was passing in front of the house, and heard her cries for help. He went in, discovered the wolf in grandmother's bed and at once understood that grandmother had been gobbled up by that horrible beast.
He swiftly grabbed the pair of scissors that he carried with him in his bag and in one quick movement, opened the wolf’s stomach up from top to bottom.
To his great surprise, he found Little Red Riding Hood inside. Delighted to be free once again, the little girl came out of the wolf's stomach; with her grandmother following her close behind.
They all rushed off to gather great big rocks and stones with which they filled the wolf’s belly, so that when he tried to get up, he fell back down on the ground, crushed under the weight of the stones.
